Xtreme Xhibits is pleased to announce that it recently completed the work on an event for the U.S Army’s Africa Command. Although Xtreme Xhibits is best known for creating dynamic San Antonio trade show exhibits, the company was able to create an exhibit that highlighted the Army’s humanitarian mission in Africa instead of a traditional Austin trade show stand that’s designed to sell products or services.

How Xtreme Xhibits’ Experience With San Antonio Trade Show Exhibits Helped The U.S. Army

Xtreme Xhibits’ experience is primarily with creating a dynamic San Antonio trade show booth, and this experience served the U.S. Army well. Representatives from Xtreme Xhibits met with representatives from the U.S. Army more than six months before the exhibit was to be used at the Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting in Washington D.C.

After reviewing a number of different designs from the San Antonio trade show exhibits designer, the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Africa, Maj. Gen. David R. Hogg chose the final design last spring. After the winning design was chosen, Austin trade show stand staff got started on the actual construction. Throughout the entire process, the designers kept representatives of the U.S. Army Africa Command updated.

Creating The Stand Like Any Other Austin Trade Show Stand

Like any other Austin trade show stand created by Xtreme Xhibits, the story of the client, the Army’s Africa Command, paid a key part in the design. The Army wanted an interactive stand, so a dozen members from the command interacted with visitors using hand-held Wi-Fi terminals, interactive displays, videos and more to show off the command’s social media sites and the Army Africa story. Using interactive displays, social media and more allowed the U.S. Army representatives working at the booth the opportunity to really explain the work that’s being done in Africa and first hand knowledge as to why they think it’s important.

At The Association Of The U.S. Army Annual Meeting

Over 100 different exhibits were debuted at the Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting. The San Antonio trade show exhibit highlighting the work done by the work of the U.S. Army Africa Command was instantly recognized as one of the most unique and dynamic. The stand paid tribute to the humanitarian work done in Africa, including disaster relief, civic assistance and regional security and highlights the partnerships that are being fostered on a daily basis.

Because Xtreme Xhibits focuses on creating one of a kind San Antonio trade show exhibits, the company was able to create a design that was inventive, interactive and dynamic. The feedback from the U.S. Army Africa Command was overwhelmingly positive.

“It’s an honor and a special privilege to be entrusted with building an exhibit for the military. While I’m grateful for all of our long-term clients and every client we design a San Antonio trade show booth for, the military is a special customer and their designs and requirements are unique. Fabricating the U.S. Army Africa exhibit this year was one of my most favorite projects,” said Scott Amerie, vice president of Xtreme Xhibits.
